Dissemination and Communication
To ensure the widest possible impact, the REALISE project actively disseminates its findings to diverse audiences. We engage the scientific community through academic publications, specialized symposia, and participation in major international conferences.
To reach policymakers and research institutions, we develop targeted policy papers and dedicated workshops. Furthermore, we are committed to broader public outreach, connecting with students, citizens, and the media through our website, social media, school visits, science nights, and appearances on podcasts and television.

REALISE Kick-off Meeting 11/12/2025
Gianluca Sampaolo, MSCA Global Fellow, leads the REALISE project, addressing one of the most strategic issues for Europe’s future: the balance between security and openness in research and innovation ecosystems. This international initiative involves the University of Macerata, the University of California, Berkeley, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), and the INSIDE Industry Association, supported by a top-tier scientific and institutional team.
The kick-off officially activated the network of a project which stands as a concrete example of how global collaboration can strengthen Europe’s capacity to tackle emerging technological challenges.
